Net-Zero Unveils New Houses in Moricetown

August 8, 2016

Net-Zero unveiled the first of four houses built for the Moricetown Band. Here is a little peek inside if you missed the open house.

The 833 square foot houses come with two bedrooms and one bath as well as high efficiency wood stoves, the smallest houses Net-zero has built so far.

The houses feature a six foot covered porch, hardy plank siding, six-inch SIP exterior walls and high quality, made in Canada Merit kitchen and bathroom cabinets.

The houses were built without concrete foundations. Instead Net-Zero used screw piles, an anchoring system used for deep foundations in almost any type of ground.
